np: Xenogears - Faraway Promise

Just saw .hack//sign~ I think it's still safe to say that this is an AWESOME anime with lots of potential. Apparently, it's an anime about role-playing, which interests me to no end. At the beginning of the first episode, I was afraid that it would end up redundant, but I was exceptionally pleased by the end. I'm just hoping that they'll continue to move the story along without killing it.
The series takes place in an online gaming world properly called "The World." The main character, whose name is not yet revealed in the first episode awakes and finds himself in "The World" without any memories of how he got there or what he was doing beforehand. It is made known that Tsukasa (Name found on official site) was not a "newbie" in "The World" and that he HAD known something about another PC character by the name of Mahou who has the form of a cat. Mahou is wanted by the Scarlet Knights, who act as the implementers in "The World, and they're tracking down Tsukasa.
Now, a little about the main character himself. He seems like a distant and cool character at first, assumed by his interactions with other characters. He appears to be nonchalant of his incapability to remember what he was doing or why he can't seem to log out and return to reality. It is obvious, however, that he is upset and distressed about his current situation and his "cool and undaunted attitude" cracks when he has a conversation with another character named Mimiru concerning being stuck in "The World;" when she slaps him, he is surprised that it had hurt. Near the end of the episode, he tries to convince himself that being stuck in the game wasn't so bad afterall. Then the anime shows us a brief glimpse of the real world, and we see Tsukasa's body on the floor, unconscious, with some virtual game headset(?) on the floor next to him.
Anyway, I feel sorry for Tsukasa. During the show, I had to stop myself from whimpering when he found out that he was stuck. As much as I like the idea of being able to "go into" a RPG game universe, I wouldn't want to be stuck there. Ahh... very nice start. I'm looking forward to the next episode. *grins*

I have discovered to my horror that I am in danger of becoming obsessed with yet another series...Earl Cain. I've known about this particular Kaori Yuki manga for a while, but I haven't ever really focused on it or had the time to look into till now. And what I found so far is tempting me to buy everything related to that series. Evil. I find Earl Cain to be more, I dunno..I guess interesting, than Angel Sanctuary, although I have an eery knowledge of things concerning that AS. But...Earl Cain really sounds cool, and I must have. I heard a drama cd has just been released..with some popular seiyuu playing as the characters. XD

Finally! It's the end of the week! Now I have Spring Break! Yay!! Wait, I mean, NO!!!! Our teachers think we have no life and have piled homework on top of homework on us to do DURING the break. That just pisses me off. What are vacations for then? Argh. Life is never what you want it to be..
I did have some fun today. I did something I would have thought I would never do. I went...scootering..yes. Scootering. I was surprised I could scooter at all with my bad balance and all, but it was easy! ^^; Went racing with people. Believe or not, it was fun. Yes, it's "scootering," but it's fun. I want to do it again~ ^^
Michelle, we had that little meeting with Lopez today. I'm not gonna say anymore here, but if you want to know the details, you can IM me. Oh yeah, have any extra time during Spring Break? Wanna visit LA? XD Umm..and yeah, my toe will be alright, I hope. Wait, were you the one who asked? O_o; Err..
I just noticed that I don't have much to blog about. I always need someone/something to stimulate me into responding. This really tells me that I really don't have a life. Great. Argh, well I had something to say, but I forgot what.

*Cracks up~* haha..the Touyazukmori~ *LOL* I love it.
I stubbed my toe today on some metal shelf, and I was in excruciating pain throughout the rest of the day. And being the clumsy oaf that I was, I tripped over a bag on the floor and hit my toe on floor. It was then I stopped feeling my toes entirely. Very weird, so I went home and removed my socks. And what do I find? That my toe nail has been snapped off entirely. Sick and gross and painful!!! Surprisingly, I wasn't bleeding all over the place~ but it still hurt like HEEEELLL...I was very calm about it, which shocked me cuz I'm really a woose when in pain. Anyway, I did some research on it, and found out that it usually takes 3 months for a a whole toe nail to grow back...hopefully, the process goes faster since it's my small toe that was hurt. Yes, can't you just picture it... A raw ugly toe with no nail...I don't even want to think about it. Yes, I shall stop thinking about it and just slap a band-aid on it...maybe that'll make it stop hurting.

Urgh~ it's been awhile since I blogged...was sidetracked by other things, namely school. Urgh. That...and my uncle came to visit this week with one of my cousins. Considering that I still have to attend school (darn.), I was busy the whole week doing homework and going out with the family. So I am bummed out tired~~~~AGHHH!!! *insert screaming here*
Yes, I am calm now, thank you..I have made it my first priority to get a license. Now. Or I would so tear my hair out. I was after school today for PR classes, but then my dad didn't come and pick me up 'cuz he just plain forgot about me entirely, so I had to walk home with 3 heavy textbooks inside my backpack. Usually, I can walk miles home with no problem. But the backpack was killing my back, and my legs were getting so friggin' heavy. I practically sank into ground with 30 pounds on my back. It is a horrible feeling. I have concluded that I am too weak and too cowardly to join the the goddamn army. And I definitely need a car. Or I'm really going to develop scoliosis and suffer from back pains when I'm older. Or it might be too late, since my back's been being uncooperative these days...Sad...I'm only 16....I shouldn't be having these problems yet~ *sob* ;;_;;
Yes, so another day of total exhaustion and fatigue. And I didn't even start my homework yet. Oh well, for now, I am going to get myself some sleep. Otherwise, I don't think I'll have any luck on finishing anything with this loud pounding in my head. So, heading out...to bed....Oyasumi~ ~_~Z

~~~ I was very productive today! Finished all my homework for the weekend and created a new layout for the blog. Also went out to a friend's birthday party for several hours, grabbed a bite to eat, then went home and became too dizzy to read the small print of manga...so I opted to burn off enough anime and stuff on the computer onto cd to free enough space on the hard drives to last me roughly a week.
Bad things that happened today: I managed to screw up my throat more, so now I can barely talk at all. Damnit. Oh, I'm sick and will probably stay sick until next week, since my sicknesses usually tend to last a week. Michelle, if I'm not talking tomorrow, it doesn't mean I don't want to, it's because I can't. Please bear with me. ~o~
